The winter 2018 edition of Advantage Africa's newsletter ‘Milestones’ has the theme of ‘New Beginnings’. The newsletter highlights how your support helps marginalised people to rebuild their lives and overcome poverty. Beatrice, featured on the front page, was beaten and thrown out of her home by her husband and left destitute with four young children. With support from people like you, she now has a safe home and is building up a small retail business. As we sent out the newsletter she told us ‘All is well and the business is moving on smoothly’ as she and her family regain confidence, resilience and hope for the future.
