Building a Better Future

Advantage Africa supports people affected by poverty, disability and HIV to improve their education, health and incomes. Our work helps some of East Africa’s most vulnerable people to overcome prejudice, help themselves and build a better future for their families and communities.

Could you help make this happen by sponsoring Advantage Africa's co-founder Jane Betts in her bid to run two marathons in two weeks? In keeping with the theme, your donation will be multiplied by two, thanks to a kind supporter who is match funding all donations on her fundraising page.

In 2017, renowned journalist Jon Snow presented a BBC Radio 4 Appeal for our project in Uganda protecting people with the genetic condition of albinism from skin cancer.
