Could your school, club or church support Advantage Africa with a special event or collection?

Teacher Paula Deighton of Stanway School says:

Advantage Africa has helped our children learn so much about issues facing people in Kenya and Uganda and it’s motivated them to raise thousands of pounds for this great charity over the years

Revd. Claire Wood says:

Our church’s support of Advantage Africa helped us fulfill our mission of justice and service for the world’s poorest

Make a Plate, Feed a Child

The Plate Project helps provide a nutritious meal for over 100 orphaned and vulnerable children each lunchtime in Obambo, Kenya. This may be their only meal of the day.

As well as ensuring their health and physical development the project enables these boys and girls to concentrate and achieve better results in school. It only costs 40p to provide a traditional filling meal in Kenya. We need nearly £10,000 per year to support this vital service.

The Plate Project exists as an app on Facebook where you can design virtual plates and donate to put real food on real plates in Obambo. If you donate over £40, your plate is made for real and sent to Obambo. It’s a fun way to support Advantage Africa and help children living in difficult circumstances to reach their potential.

Visit the Plate Project you don’t need to be a Facebook user.
