BBC Radio 4 Appeal

Jon Snow
Renowned journalist Jon Snow recently presented a BBC Radio 4 Appeal for Advantage Africa. The Appeal, for our work in Uganda to protect people with the genetic condition of albinism from skin cancer, can now be heard
on the BBC iPlayer.

At one of our recent skin clinics, more than half of those attending had pre-cancerous lesions. People with albinism from all over Uganda need urgent help with sunscreen, hats, skin checks, treatment and surgery to prevent early, needless deaths. Advantage Africa’s albinism project is saving the lives of hundreds of people but we can only continue it with the help of people like you.

Please listen online to hear Jon tell the moving story of one family affected by skin cancer and explaining how you can help others like them have a future to look forward to.
